- Click on the \u201cSetting Button\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n
- From the Setting tab, you just have to choose “Forwarding and POP\/IMAP”<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n
- Now, check the “IMAP access status”<\/strong>. If the access is disabled then please enable it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Once your IMAP account is completely and successfully created then you need to synchronize Outlook for Mac with this.<\/p>\n Phase 2 \u2013 Add IMAP Account to Outlook for Mac<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Open Outlook for Mac >> “Menu”<\/strong> >> “Tools”<\/strong> >> “Accounts”<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Click on the email, enter the required credentials and then click on \u201cAdd Account\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Once all the above steps performed, check the IMAP account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Now, create the Gmail label, in order to synchronize between IMAP and Outlook for Mac account.<\/p>\n Phase 3 \u2013 Create a Gmail Label<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Open your Gmail email account >> “Gear”<\/strong> >> “Setting Button”<\/strong><\/li>\n
- On the \u201cSetting\u201d<\/strong> Tab, click \u201cLabels\u201d<\/strong> and click on \u201cNew Label\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Now, go to your Outlook for Mac machine and click on “Send\/Receive”<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Phase 4 \u2013 Move Emails from Outlook for Mac to IMAP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Open Outlook for Mac and then click on that emails which you want to move int Outlook for Windows<\/li>\n
- Select “Move”<\/strong> >> “Copy to folder”<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Here, enter the name of IMAP folder and click on the “copy”<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
- Select “Send\/Receive”<\/strong> or refresh the folder on Gmail to update the mailbox. You need to do with when the above process is successfully performed.<\/li>\n
- Now, all the copied data have been synchronized to the IMAP folder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
After performing all the above steps, please move all the mailbox data from IMAP folder to Outlook for Windows. To perform this, you just have to set up the same IMAP account to the Windows Outlook.<\/p>\n | | |
